Philips 55OLED804/12
55", OLED, 4K, 2019
My third Philips and finally everything is right. Smooth operation, great sound and stable OS. The picture is great anyway.
I have been using the TV for 2 months now.
Works flawlessly except:
- Sometimes there are communication problems between the UPC box, the Sony 5.1 system (10 years old) and the TV. Most of the time you can control everything with a remote control, but sometimes not.
- The Android is cool, but not yet mature:
o Doesn't have a "reboot" function ergo you have to unplug it.
o Has no task manager
o The menu has many customisation options without a proper description (possibly user manual)
o The OLED cleaning function, so that the "picture burn-in residues" are removed, runs undisturbed for approx. 2 hours, i.e. you cannot use the TV for approx. 2 hours. Even after unplugging, the TV switches off after 2 minutes and continues to clean.
- You cannot project the PC wirelessly onto the TV. (no Miracast, but Chromecast).
I am very satisfied with the TV and am complaining at the highest level, because these are only details that may not bother anyone.

Ordered for my brother. He named him Goliath and just raves about him. He now has a new favourite brother... it has 55 inches and is called Goliath🤷🏾♂️
As expected, the picture is excellent. In combination with Ambilight, it is even better. The sound is not bad by flat screen TV standards. But such a good picture deserves something better, so connect the sound system and enjoy ;)
Android TV OS runs very smoothly and without jerks. For a TV OS, the scope is huge, but that's what you're used to with Android.

The OLED display has excellent picture quality: sharp, high-contrast, natural colours. The design is minimalistic and therefore very appealing. The Ambilight is very pleasant and can easily be adjusted according to personal needs.

Delivery top fast installed Philips with Ambilight is great
Everything is fine, very cool TV. But that was clear, as it is equipped with the best c9 panel from LG.
The only negative point is the reflection in daylight, otherwise it's great.

I am thrilled for the price!
The Philips 55OLED804 impresses with its great picture quality and features that leave hardly anything to be desired. The sound quality is also convincing. The Android operating system works smoothly and well. Great Ambilight function. Compatible with the HUE lamp system.

Great design and good workmanship
Super part
Great TV, fully meets my expectations!
At the end of November I bought the High Class model 55Oled804 from Philips (my first Philips TV) and after not even 2 months the TV broke down by itself! Suddenly the screen went black and faint lines appeared across the TV and then suddenly nothing worked. The red LED light on the TV just blinked very fast. I had a Samsung TV for a long time and never had any problems with it, and then I experience something like this. It is very annoying because I actually thought a lot of this brand and this model but I have honestly lost confidence in Philips TVs, if it is already a warranty case after such a short time, then you can imagine how I will feel watching TV for the next few years (if I am not allowed to replace it with another brand). Philips contacted me by email within 24 hours after I wrote my request on the contact form, but did not respond at all to this case and my suggestion and told me to download a file on a USB stick and try to reinstall the TV. I did this but unfortunately without success. On 22.01.20 at 15:56 I contacted Ms Justyna again via the Philips chat and my suggestion was that if such a defect was an isolated case, then a brand like Philips should be able to stand behind its product and offer me a +3 year guarantee as a gift (a total of 5 years including the factory guarantee). Instead of offering a fair solution, she simply said that this can happen with any TV and that it's not a problem because I still have a guarantee! To be honest, I think that's an impertinence! Fortunately, I did not equip my flat with Hue lamps within these 2 months.
