This controller has a lot of potential to be the perfect Nintendo Switch Pro controller alternative. Sadly PowerA opted to add Weights inside the controller instead of rumble vibrations and gyro.

First of all, the controller feels great in the hand, thanks in no small part to its weight, but that's where the dream ends.
Firstly, one of the most important points, the sticks. First of all, they're made of cheap plastic, and you can feel it. It's the same as the Chinese replacement sticks for the old GC controllers, for example. They're light years ahead of the ones you'll find on Xbox Series controllers, for example. Even the stick on the classic Pro Controller has a better feel.
Secondly, there's a little plastic part that circles the joystick (the red circle on the white shell). This bit of plastic is independent of the shell, it's just embedded in it. This means that as soon as one of the two sticks touches the edge, it makes a crazy noise that's unbearable.
Not to mention the fact that the sticks have very little resistance to move them, which gives that 'soft' feeling that you get with a PS3/4 controller.
Then there's the fact that the material used for the grip on the underside of the controller wears out and gets dirty pretty quickly.
Finally, the feel of the R, L and D-pad buttons isn't exactly top-notch, far behind the xbox series controller. It feels like you have to push the button down for an interminable distance, just like on the GC controller.
It's a real shame.
