Samsung QE55Q60T

Perfect purchase and delivery as usual!
I tried everything, a pi-hole behind it, see around if there is a custom firmware, but no, it comes with a lot of bloatware preinstalled occupying most the space..
If you update the firmware it may come some new bloatware that you cant uninstall it..
If it wasn't for the shipping/setup price I would have return it long time ago and get something with android (rootable) on it to get rid of the spammy advertising that it has everywhere

Perfect replacement for the old TV. For us, everything fits size, quality and the price.

Inexpensive TV with great resolution. Fast switching between apps. Remote control takes some getting used to as it has very few buttons.

Really a great device.

Obviously I ordered the unit too early. The software that is supposed to run on the set is not even close to running.
Crashes both when setting up the TV and when trying to use apps.
Funnily enough, even the device maintenance crashes....
Was looking forward to the device.... Unfortunately, the joy is gone...

The star deduction was for the very "cool" but unpratic remote control. Older Samsung models also came with a standard remote control - now only one without number buttons...what a pity!

For the most part, this TV meets my expectations for this price (899), but if I watch a blockbuster in the evening that either has black bars at the top and bottom or the film you are watching has many dark scenes, you may not be able to see anything. In the worst case, the TV (e.g. ours) still shows a slight clouding effect, which is common with LCD TVs that are processed cheaply.

Very good TV, thin, enough connectors,
Unfortunately Tizen OS is really bad in terms of OS, you'll have to think about getting an Android box as well.
When you look really well you can see a bit of grain in the picture, but honestly you don't pay attention to it.

I am totally satisfied with the device. Very clear and beautiful picture. Many connection options. I am very positively surprised about the sound quality.
The menu navigation is a bit difficult at first, because there are so many functions and items until you know what's where. The remote control is very simple and elegant. What I miss is the number pad for easy changing of TV channels.

The TV looks sleek and the picture quality is also top. But:
Apps work unreliably (I have to restart the TV all the time to get them to run at all). Most of the pre-installed apps cannot be deleted.
The menu often stalls (even after a factory reset).
The WiFi stopped working a few weeks ago (factory reset only fixed the problem for a short time) - since then I have been switching to my Xbox or Apple TV to access apps like Youtube and Netflix.

I bought the Q60T in 55" from another supplier at an unbeatable price, but I would still like to give a review here. I bought it as a replacement for my 2015 Sony KD 49", which was twice as expensive at the time but otherwise still top. I am really positively surprised. The picture is very good with beautiful colours. Bright images are its advantage, dark images are OK but not great, OLED TVs are certainly better. The operation with the minimalist remote control is very easy and for me more pleasant than with conventional remote controls. Very good for people who also use Samsung smartphones, for example, I can control the TV with my S20+ and Galaxy Watch 3 via the SmartThings app and stream various content directly from the smartphone to the TV. The user interface with Tizen OS is very nicely done, unfortunately some apps (Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc.) are permanently installed and cannot be removed. However, you can customise the arrangement. There are some apps, but unfortunately fewer than on TVs with Android OS, but still certainly sufficient. The TV loads very quickly in general and reacts to inputs almost without delay, which was much worse with my Sony. The game mode is also great for gamers. The sound is heavily criticised on many sites, which I can't confirm at all. It is completely adequate and good, but unfortunately Dolby DTS is not supported. Due to the lack of Android TV as an OS, there is also no Chromecast installed, which is noticeable in some apps that cannot be streamed from the smartphone to the TV. But it is manageable. Unfortunately, the TV has "only" 3 HMDI ports and no SCART connections like the Sony TVs. Also no HDMI 2.1, so no 4K@120fps (for PS5 gamers). However, the TV is exceptional in its price range and has an almost unbeatable price/performance ratio.
