I need the Seagate One Touch Hub primarily for backups of my computer and as a storage expansion for the computer. I was hoping to use the extra ports for an external CD drive and an external SSD. Turns out the Seagate isn't quite the right solution for me.
This hard drive is relatively loud. The fan noise bothers me so much that I can't have the hard drive behind the monitor on the table as planned. I have to stow it under the table, from where it can still be heard clearly and also annoyingly. An external SSD can be connected to the computer via the USB hub. This connection seems to be very unstable. During speed tests with Blackmagic Disk Speed Test, the external SSD is always ejected unexpectedly, as well as when copying larger files from the computer. The ports do not carry enough power for an external CD drive. The hub only seems to be sufficient for USB sticks.

I had read that the appliance was loud, but it turned out to be significantly louder than expected.

I am very disappointed, the device takes ages to be ready for use, the computer has been running for a long time and the hard drive takes ages.
Data such as pictures take a miserably long time to open

I probably received a so-called Monday model.
Installation and initial transfers from another HD to this drive via the workstation went well, then the drive stopped working and disconnected the USB port.
Several attempts failed.
I don't know whether this is due to the power cable, the USB connection cable or the drive.
The other HD (Seagate Expansion 5 TB) with a different USB connection cable (without the necessary power cable) runs perfectly on the same USB port.

The second Seagate hard drive also met my expectations. Although I had to reformat the hard drive with NTFS (it was formatted with exFAT), this does not detract from my assessment. I need the hard drive with NTFS because it is mounted in a Windows network. It's really great!

will probably not win any innovation or design awards, but it does what it is supposed to do.
