Sphero Mini
Sphero Mini
Fun and attractive at first sight, this object will quickly bore you and will find its place in the drawer where we put everything and anything to never get out. The reason: the lack of functionality.

I find "the sphere" really very funny. Fast, manoeuvrable, easy to operate.
You can argue whether the price for a controllable ping pong ball is justified, but everyone can decide that for themselves.

Size like a ping-pong ball. Is controlled with the help of an app.

Smaller and more fun than Sphero BB-12. I also discovered Sphero Edu to learn to program: opens new horizons.

I had actually bought it for my pet dogs. They found the "thing" funny-maybe after a longer period of getting used to it, they will warm up to it too.
I had a lot of fun with it, even our godfather couldn't get enough of it. The "Töggeli" and the bowling pins were the absolute highlight.
The only problem is that the fun is over after 15-30 minutes, depending on how long you use it. Charging is also a bit time-consuming.
Otherwise "mega cool" (quote from my godfather).

Nice gimmick, should also keep my cats a little happy. The Sphero but so not interested. Is too creepy ...?
Actually a funny part, makes fun with it to curve around but it loses too often the BT connection. That is then quickly times annoying.
Price / performance I find a little too high

Fun toy, but the connection drops very often even if in a range of 2 meters (it should be bluetooth so it’s strange). When the connection drops you have ten seconds to reconnect in the easy way, otherwise you need to go with an app restart and performing the task to reconnect at beginning (longer and slower procedure). The thing is that while you are driving, you won’t realize the connection dropped and it’s easy you pass the ten seconds.
It’s not easy to control it, even with the accelerometer in the iPad...
And you need to calibrate the position every time otherwise it will not go forward when you incline the iPad forward and so on...
In conclusion, nice toy, but just a a toy

it is fun, the software updates make it even more interesting.
I do not think you can get much more from a single ball.
Of course it's a little ball, so do not expect much more.
They might come up with team games, but not sue they can.

Cute, fun and very interesting. A little difficult to use it to entertain my little dogs because every time my little dog picks it up the shell opens.
