Very easy to set up. Replaces the DAB+ receiver part of my Yamaha R-N803D, which is weak and has since failed completely.

Worlds better than Rigi BT
I had bought its counterpart a long time ago (Rigi BT) and never warmed up to it: the device made tedious high-pitched noises and the remote control only worked when you stood directly in front of the box.

DAB+ reception is unusable
We bought this unit because of the DAB+ receiver. Unfortunately, it is so bad that we had to return a unit for the first time ever.
We received some stations, but local stations were completely missing, no matter how you pointed the antenna.
The stations we did receive also had so many interruptions that listening to the radio was annoying.
We live right next to Aarau.

Perfect radio tuner
The perfect complement to any stationary active loudspeaker with a 3.5 input jack. This little device contains everything that was once built into monstrous tuner components. I have several of them and am extremely satisfied. The thing is primarily to be used as a DAB radio. There are better solutions for Bluethooth. Bluethooth is already built into most active speakers.

In areas with weak reception, only to be operated with an external antenna.
Compared to my much older Akai DAB+ AA-801 portable radio, it performs poorly in this respect. The supplied throw antenna doesn't help either. In locations where Akai receives stations without any problems, it is dead in the water. Since Akai has a telescopic antenna, I also connected TechniSat to one - but reception is still poor. Only a self-made dipole outdoor antenna with a cable to a better location helped.
