Thrustmaster Open Wheel AddOn

I wanted a Formula Wheel for my Thrustmaster T300 and went for the Open Wheel Add on.
Initially I didn't know if I could handle an open wheel, but after a few moments I realized that this wheel is perfect for the wheelbase.
Would buy again and now I can not imagine driving with the standard steering wheel.
Processing is top, only drawback: The "Alcantara" or what it is exactly, in the thumb area left as well as right, is already worn after several days of use, respectively speckig. Very bad. I used for years gloves to avoid exactly such problems, but has unfortunately brought nothing.
Otherwise absolutely perfect add on for the Thrustmaster setup.

Let's get another useful rating out of it!
The best way to describe it is that you get roughly what you pay for. I think the price of CHF 123 is perfectly acceptable. The workmanship seems very solid and the steering wheel should give its owner pleasure for a long time. The leather on the handle should apparently rub off. I use the steering wheel with gloves so this is not a problem. The roughened surface should become smooth and greasy over time. But this is normal for the material. Otherwise it seems to be of high quality. No flex can be felt inside the steering wheel during normal use.
Another positive aspect is the very low weight of the steering wheel. As a result, the force feedback of my T300RS can be felt much better.
In terms of feel, the steering wheel is comparable to the Ferrariwheel supplied with the T300RS. The buttons have a well perceptible pressure point, but the quality is certainly not high-end. The shift paddles feel the same. Some of them shift a little too quickly for my taste.
On the negative side:
The main thing that bothers me is that the grip is quite wide. The grip feels too thick for my hands (glove size 8.5-9). My hands start to cramp after a short time and it feels rather unnatural.
Whoever thought about putting the buttons where they are has probably never held a steering wheel in their hands. The inner rows of buttons can only be pressed by releasing the steering wheel slightly. The lower 4 buttons are even harder to reach. This could have been avoided for the same price!
In general, there are rather few buttons. The same old thing with simracing...you can never have enough buttons.
Conclusion:
The steering wheel has one or two weaknesses. But if you want to try out a GT-style wheel, you can't go wrong here. The quality is decent for the price. The low weight gets more out of the 5NM torque, which makes the virtual road more perceptible. If you have very small hands or are bothered by the arrangement of the buttons, you should buy a different wheel.
Fully okay for the price!
