    Small & Powerful

Ideal for filming on iPhone15Pro's in 4K ProRes!

    Pro

    • Small (narrow!)
    • High performance
    • Dual USB ports
    • USB-C plug also goes through with existing iPhone case

    Contra

    • The caps are asymmetrical: must be fitted the right way round.

    Fast external SSD

    Use it:
    1. for the fast transfer of large amounts of data
    2. VM on stick
With longer use and especially longer high data rates, the part does get quite warm/hot

    Pro

    • USB A & C

    Contra

    • gets quite warm

    Small key, large capacity

A great high-capacity USB flash drive with two interfaces for easy connection to different devices. It's a bit hot, and the detachable caps aren't fixed very securely, so they can easily be lost.

    Pro

    • Capacity
    • Size
    • USB / USB-C interface
    • Performance

    Contra

    • Prices
    • Separate caps

    Good but no USB stick

Does not work with the projector (USB input, where all other USB sticks work). Presumably because the internal architecture is more like an SSD - the stick is described by Trancend as an SDD.

Very satisfied, but Marketing (unfortunately) overpriced...

I received this SSD in stick form as a gift - which not only made me happy, but I'm still thrilled about it! :)
The brilliant thing about the device is - first of all: the stick (SSD) is faster than any USB stick I've ever
had; in practice, it achieves just under 700 MByte/s when writing and approx. 950 MByte/s when reading.
The write cache is also very large. Many SSDs, and especially SSDs in "stick form", already drop massively after a few (approx. 10-30GB) - here I have approx. 650MByte/s when writing up to approx. 100GByte (!!) and then the write rate is reduced to approx. 50% of the original value, i.e. approx. 300MByte/s. Many other products fall to USB2.0 standards (approx. 60MB/s) or even less. [see screenshots]
Therefore, the stick - relatively speaking, in my eyes - actually deserves 5 stars. However, since Transcend advertises it with just under 1Gbyte/s in read & write, I deduct 1 star for the misleading marketing.

PS: The stick works perfectly on/with the iPhone 15 Pro via USB-C, which is really very cool. :)

    Pro

    • Very fast
    • Remarkably large write cache
    • No (real) problems so far
    • Large storage capacity

    Contra

    • the advertised almost 1GiByte/s is not achieved (here)
    • Write speed drops after approx. 100GiByte (really tragic?!)
