Top media player that so far plays every video file smoothly. Excellent picture and sound quality! Dolby Atmos & DTS-X are also played back without any problems. The Zappiti Media-Cener is a through-date user interface with automatic identification of film titles, which works very reliably. Great display also for series or movie sagas. The player also gets regular updates and is thus getting better and better.

This media player from Zappiti is easy to set up, the necessary applications are pre-installed and thanks to Android-BS it can be used flexibly with other apps.
Many video and audio formats are supported, which was also a decisive factor for my purchase, because smart TVs support one or the other format depending on the manufacturer.
What I miss is a detailed instruction manual (short instructions are included) in German, but there are some YouTube films that explain the set-up.

4K Media Player?! Old Android version installed. You can also not necessarily update. Also video quality I did not like. Not user friendly....

Solid 4k HDR player. Picture and sound are top. Price performance is right.
What is really annoying is that it does not keep the PW for Windows drives when restarting. The remote control is unfortunately very sluggish. But all in all I would buy it again.

The player was pretty stubborn to configure for the initial installation, especially the update, but streaming Quali of media from the network server is excellent!
Netflix and co. have a pretty grotty resolution 720p >. <
Clear alternative to Kaleidescape together with a decent NAS!

Plays almost everything and has great picture quality, but the remote control has to point pretty precisely at the device otherwise nothing works.
Replaced my COOD-E TV 4K, and I am happier with it. All in all, a good box that can still be improved, especially with the software. Not everything is fully developed yet and a few more settings would not be bad.
Hardware:
+good size
+good processing
+plays 4k movies without problems
+enough connections
-Remote control via infrared, annoying because you always have to aim at the box.
+/- the buttons on the remote control are well assigned, but a few less buttons wouldn't have hurt.
Software:
+starts directly with the movies app.
+very fast and intelligent identification of the films (approx. 30sec)
+4k movies are marked on the cover.
+Movie music is played during the film description.
+Most important data is displayed, 4k HDR DTS HEVC...
-Sound cuts out for 1-2sec after each stop.
-Operation feels sluggish in parts.
-Fast forward and rewind only in 1min steps, very annoying when you miss something or don't understand it and then have to rewind a whole minute.
-The software does not recognise CD1 and CD2, it simply displays two films.
-The order by ABC does not always seem logical to me.
-Standard subtitles are often not played automatically (foreign languages in films).

So far, it plays everything I put in front of it. Since the latest firmware update, it even plays Blu-Ray menus. Not that I would have missed that... but cool nonetheless!
The Zappiti Movie Wall is really cool! The device is also built very high quality (stable and heavy). It is therefore different from the really cheap Chinese ones.

Out of the blue, the Zappiti account is deactivated and can no longer be activated. Resetting the box does not help. A new account can no longer be set up. The device is therefore no longer usable.
