Der Ricoh SP 311 Dnw kann bei der Ausstattung nicht überzeugen, wobei man auch bei der Bedienung ein paar Schwächen erkennen kann. Auch die Druckqualität bewegt sich auf einem nur mittelmäßigen Niveau, jedoch punktet der Schwarz-Weiß-Drucker mit sehr geringen Folgekosten für Ersatztoner.

Dieser Schwarzweißlaserdrucker druckt günstig, sehr schnell, sehr licht- und wasserbeständig und liefert sehr gute Textdrucke. Besonders beim Druck von Excel-Grafiken zeigt er dagegen Schwächen. Er kann Papier automatisch beidseitig bedrucken (Duplex-Druck). Per Lan-Kabel und per WLan-Funk kann er in ein lokales Netzwerk integriert werden. Mit fast 13 Kilogramm ist es recht schwer.
