Developed in collaboration between Roland and Studio Electronics, the SE-02 is presented as the debut product of the new Roland Boutique Designer Series. The SE-02 synthesizer features an authentic, discrete analog circuit design for a pronounced vintage sound with extensive programmability. Equipped with a large number of high-quality knobs and switches, as well as a uniquely creative onboard sequencer, the SE-02 offers powerful sounds and textures, including intuitive hands-on control.

The SE-02 is a substantial synthesizer with rich basses and clear, vibrant highs – exactly what one expects from a classic vintage synthesizer sound. In addition to stunning vintage sounds, the SE-02 offers much more. This includes three types of cross-modulation, an engaging filter feedback loop, a tempo-synchronized LFO with nine waveforms, envelope shaping, oscillator synchronization, a noise generator, and a tempo-synchronized delay.

Despite its compact dimensions for comfortable mobile use, the SE-02 features robust and rich knobs, switches, and buttons that provide a wide range of sound design options at your fingertips. Each function has its own knob and can be controlled directly on the logically laid out interface.

The SE-02 includes a powerful 16-step sequencer that adds additional movement and depth to your sounds. With the creative performance functions, you can easily set shuffle, range, direction, and the first/last step. The SE-02 offers storage for 128 sequencer patterns. Additionally, you can create 16 songs, each consisting of up to 16 parts.
