Product details
It is not only long-term exposures that require a tripod. Macro shots, in which precise focusing in the millimeter range is important, are also only successful if the camera can be fixed and cleanly aligned. Despite the undeniable advantages, the tripod is unfortunately often missing when it is most needed. The reason is simple: a solid tripod is bulky and weighs a few kilograms. In luggage, it often doesn't even fit diagonally into the suitcase, and on hikes, nobody wants to carry around extra weight for miles. Conventional travel tripods are smaller and lighter but do not have the necessary stability for a heavy DSLR or system camera with bright optics.
The Compact Traveler Mini M-1 (formerly M5-Mini) combines the advantages of a travel tripod with the carrying capacity of a full-sized tripod. Made of lightweight aluminum, the Compact Traveler Mini M-1 weighs just 800 grams, including the tripod head. The legs each consist of five segments and can be pushed together to a pack size of 15 cm, making the Rollei M5-Mini hardly larger than the palm of a hand. Extended, it can reach a working height between 12 and 41 cm, ideal for macro photography, but also for placing your camera on walls, a windowsill, or a car roof for night shots, group shots with a self-timer, or panoramas.
The Rollei M5-Mini carries at least 8 kg, which is sufficient for an SLR camera with a large lens. The set includes a professional ball head that rotates 180 degrees and can be fixed with just one screw. You can easily mount your camera using the supplied quick coupling plate with an integrated spirit level for exact horizontal alignment. The tripod legs can be swiveled up and down, and the center column can be reversibly mounted—a very important feature for working close to the ground in micro and macro photography. With the Rollei Tripod Compact Traveler Mini M-1, you will never miss a photo opportunity during your holidays or outdoor activities.

- klein, aber vollwertig
- sehr hohe Nutzlast
- praktisch für Reisen
- preiswert
- schwer
