Die J-Serie bietet solide Technik in einem stabilen Alu-Gehäuse. Der Akku ist genügsam, die Kamera macht tags ordentliche Bilder. Wer sein Smartphone nur wenig nutzt, liegt hier richtig. Für Poweruser ist die Technik aber zu schwach.
Das Galaxy J3 ist kein Riese, hat aber dank hochwertiger Verarbeitung, solidem Akku und echtem Dual-SIM für unter 150 Euro seine Daseinsberechtigung. Für ein "gutes" Galaxy sind aber mindestens 200 Euro fällig: Dafür gibt es das Galaxy J5 (2017) mit kontraststarkem Display und besserer Kamera.
