When reading, the Backup Plus Hub is really on its toes with up to 235 megabytes per second. Writing is somewhat slower, especially with medium-sized files. The Seagate only manages 111 megabytes per second. Really practical: the built-in USB hub with two sockets - you can plug in a second hard drive, for example.
