The Sniper Elite series has been able to secure a steadily growing fan base since its premiere in 2005. And the responsible team at Rebellion has some very good news for them: Sniper Elite 5, the next instalment in the series, is due to be released in the course of next year.
This time, the marksman will be travelling to France, where he will support the resistance at the end of the Second World War in order to stop the mysterious Operation Kraken. The maps on which you are travelling are said to be the largest and most realistic in the history of the series and are based on real locations. Mechanically, in addition to the familiar sneaking and sniping elements (including the infamous "kill cam", of course), a new "mobility system" has been introduced. This should give you even more options for taking out your targets. When the going gets tough, you can also try to take out the high-ranking Nazi officers in co-op mode.
