Compared to its predecessors, the Sony Alpha 7 Ill has made particular gains in terms of AF, continuous shooting speed and video function. It has very good features, although the viewfinder and monitor resolutions of higher-priced Sony models are better. Time-lapse, double exposures or raw converter are missing...
The focus of the Sony camera family is the Alpha world. Here you will find models from the 7 and 9 series as well as the top model Alpha 1. The Alpha 7 series is mainly aimed at ambitious amateur photographers. But how do the respective models differ? The respective model name provides information...
The Sony Alpha 7S III is a reportage and video specialist. It is perfectly tailored to these areas - but with its new OLED viewfinder, the new touch operation and the freely positionable display, it also shows where Sony is heading in the future. The full-frame camera shines with its high sensitivity and wide dynamic range...
- Extremely bright
- significantly better ergonomics
- easier operation
- Better image stabiliser
- RAW format with high colour depth
- new card format
- Very high ISO values usable in practice, fantastic noise behaviour
- Top 4K video quality
- Revised menu
- Strong autofocus system
- Quite high price

- The use of a new storage system is annoying for users who already work with the previous type B CFexpress cards. The price of the camera is high.
Just under 4,200 euros for a twelve-megapixel camera sounds astonishingly high, but the Sony A7S III justifies this with its high degree of specialisation. For a high-quality film camera, it is almost inexpensive, despite the significantly increased price compared to its predecessor...
