All in all, there is no camera in the price range up to 350 euros that is better positioned than the Cyber-Shot DSC-RX100. Sony has given the compact camera a good set of features, the speed is great and the image quality is particularly good.
- Lowlight
- Very good video quality
- Large sensor
- Aperture at zoom
In addition to excellent video quality, the Sony is also very adjustable and extremely precise. The behaviour in low light is also almost terrific and this is also due to the large built-in sensor. Only the zoom aperture cuts a somewhat unfortunate figure here.
- Very compact
- Focus ring
- comprehensive configuration options
- Keys fiddly
- Monitor not movable
The Sony shines with its video quality and numerous options for manual settings. A focus ring is also part of the very good equipment and the compact dimensions allow very easy operation. Clear test winner, as almost everything is right here.
- Battery life
- good handling
- Very compact
- good workmanship
- good operability
- Controls a little too small
The compact camera from Sony delivers the best image quality in the test. Even at high ISO values, the device delivers low-noise images and is thus the test winner. However, the RX-100 is quite expensive.
- low image noise
- large image sensor
- Very high price
The camera takes good pictures and is relatively low-noise even at high ISO values, so the quality is right here. Only the somewhat high price was criticised here.
