The WH-XB910N doesn't just make the competition sweat. The over-ear delivers Sony's proven smart noise-cancelling, a high level of wearing comfort and a remarkable battery life. The intuitive touch control is just as pleasing as the tidy smartphone app. The equaliser in particular proved to be very useful: The somewhat muffled sound could do with a slight treble boost.

The WH-XB910N just missed out on the top spot. The Sony headphones have a lot to offer, such as clever noise-cancelling and an enormous battery life. Not so good, however, is the bass-heavy sound of the Sony. At least listeners can tame the bass somewhat with the help of the tidy app.
The Sony WH-XB910N offers a truly comprehensive set of features at a fair price. An excellent ANC function with finely adjustable transparency mode is just as much an advantage as compatibility with 360 Reality Audio.
