The NC450 is the ideal companion to keep you in touch with the things you consider worth protecting. The pan/tilt function of 300 or 110 degrees allows you to see in almost any direction. With a glass lens and a 1/4" progressive scan CMOS sensor, the camera captures a clear 720p HD image. The infrared LED also allows operation in the dark and ensures outstanding image quality. In the dark, the camera automatically switches to black and white mode and delivers a clear, detailed monochrome video that lets you look up to 9 meters into the absolute darkness. The NC450 can automatically send you push and email notifications when motion or noise is detected. Using the internal Micro SD card slot, you can record video/images on cards with up to 32GB capacity. The "tpCamera" app allows you to control your WLAN camera at any time and from anywhere, provided you have access to the Internet. Easily monitor your room, record videos and save stills.

Extras wie Gesichtserkennung bietet die TP-Link nicht, außerdem fallen ihre Videos nur mäßig aus, und die LAN-Übertragung erfolgt ungeschützt. Dafür lässt sich dank eingebautem Motor die Blickrichtung per App verändern. Im Test hatte sie außerdem den geringsten Zeitversatz, und sie gehört zu den günstigsten Modellen.

Für die Ersteinrichtung möchte die NC 450 per Ethernet-Kabel am Router oder Heimnetz angeschlossen werden. Später verbindet sie sich dann auf Wunsch auch per WLAN. Vorteil: Die Konfiguration über die "tpCamera"-App gelingt einfach und zuverlässig. Die App erlaubt sowohl lokalen Zugriff als auch die Anmeldung der Kamera in www.tplinkcloud.com...
