Yes, the SD card must be inserted in the Somikon film scanner. A connection to a computer is not necessary. The SD card can be processed on a computer after scanning. To do this, the computer must be able to insert and read the SD card. As far as I know, this is only possible with older models. However, there are corresponding adapters that can be connected to the computer. I use the Lexar Multi-Card 25-In-1 USB 3.0 Reader for this purpose.

Yes, the SD card WILL BE STORED IN THE FILMSCANNER.

Yes, you just need to insert an SD card into the scanner. Works without a computer.
