Exciting unit. Would like wall mounting and only 2 cables to the unit (power+connection box). However, the unit seems to have all connections on the screen. My 'old' Samsung Smart TV has a box that places all connections away from the TV. Doesn't seem so here ... What are the names of these connection boxes and how can I filter by them? I would like to have AndroidTV and therefore no more Samsung. Thanks :)
I think you mean the "One Connect Box" from Samsung. There is nothing like it from any other manufacturer and Samsung also charges a lot for it. In any case, I wouldn't pay the extra price.
Hi amikaro,
The types and shapes of the available connections vary depending on the TV set. You can find information about the location of the connections in the set-up manual (printed instructions). Or online on our support page.
All the sockets are on the back of the TV and there is a box where the cables are tidied away.

Not sure I understand your question but to have all connections (HDMI and USB in the back of the TV is normal, only some brands did had a separate box to avoid heat (maybe) in the screen. The TV comes with GoogleTV OS in itself so you don’t need any other box to do the same unless SwisscomTV box, all other TV providers have an Android TV app which the TV run natively. In any case if you use a wall mount kit you can always get a way to fix whatever box to the back of the TV wall mount.
Hope this answers your doubt.
