Yes, you can replace the fans, I also replaced them with Corsair fans. Unfortunately, the cables for the supplied fans are permanently installed, which means you simply have to hide them a little so that they don't get in the way. But everything else works without problems.

You can and should connect the fans to the graphics card (which is possible, I also did this with Cooler Master fans) so that the graphics card has its temperature under control. You can then use the Aorus Engine software to adjust the fan characteristics and check whether the control of the Corsair fans via the graphics card also works. If necessary, use your own characteristics to ensure that enough air passes through the cooler. It is possible that the Corsair fans push/pull more/less air mass through the cooler at the same speed (compared to the original fans).

So I can remove the original ones. Can I leave the Corsair fans on the commander pro? Don't I have to connect them to the graphics card (won't there be an error message from the gpu that no fans are connected)?
