Question about Epson EH-TW7100

Hello, I have connected the UPC TV Box to the projector via HDMI, but unfortunately I get no sound on the projector. Then I also connected the Mac to the projector via HDMI, but no sound on the projector there either. It should work without connecting a sound box or similar to the projector, right? Thanks in advance

You need something like this:

This allows you to tap the sound from the HDMI cable separately and continue to send the image to the projector.
The projector also has sound, but it's not that great.

Such converters are certainly also available at a lower price - if you can wait a little longer for delivery ;)

Yes, the projector has speakers in it. Have you checked the cable? Maybe there are different HDMI cables and only certain ones that also transmit sound?
