I'm asking because previously you had to have the CH version to make WiFi calls. The EU versions did not have the function for Switzerland. Moreover, the CH versions were sold at a much higher price in the shops of telephone operators (e.g. Swisscom).

What I can say in theory (I haven't tried it) is the following:
1. the corresponding function can be activated on my fold 6. Whether and how it works depends on the available WLAN networks and it still requires a SIM card registered with a supplier.
2. I bought my fold 6 in Switzerland, so it would probably be the "Swiss version" ......

Yes, I think so, because without this function you can't use the smartphone in basements or concrete flats etc. However, there are 2 versions of the same product: SM-F956BZSCEUB and F956BZSCEUE...
