Hello together I am strongly considering buying this projector, but I would like to project it directly onto a "white abrasion wall". In other words, I don't want to buy any extra screens and I don't have any other smooth walls from cupboards or similar. Do any of you have experience of how the image really looks on a wall with abrasion or do you advise against it?

Helpful answer

Originally, we wanted to buy a ceiling-mounted screen. However, we realised that it is possible to project directly onto a wall with abrasion without any major loss of quality. Since then, we have only projected onto the wall with abrasion and are happy with it. In the end, we didn't buy a screen at all.

We often project onto a normal plastered and painted wall. A warm white colour is completely sufficient, it doesn't have to be a special screen white. It works really well in the dark - you can only see the slight texture of the wall a little if the colours are the same over a large area.
We have also projected the projector onto hotel room walls - it works perfectly!
