I have a question about installing the fans: I have plugged the "All-In-One-Cable" into the "CPU-Fan-Header" connector on my motherboard. The cooling works so far, but no pump is displayed in the BIO settings. Is this because I have used this "All-In-One-Cable" and the computer cannot show me the individual fans as a result? I also have an "AIO-Pump-Header" connection, but when I plug the "All-In-One-Cable" into it, I get an error message that apparently no CPU fans are connected. I'm unsure at the moment whether this is how it should be or whether the pump fans/pump really isn't working. Any help would be appreciated!

Helpful answer

This is normal. The "all-in-one" cable doesn't allow you to monitor the fan, pump, etc. separately.

Your "all-in-one" cable must be connected to the "CPU FAN" connector.

The other connector, split into 3, should be plugged respectively into Cpu FAN, Pump, and the third I can't remember the name of.

This cable is useful if you want to separate fan and pump management. This is not really useful in my opinion.

You can refer to your motherboard's documentation too, to find out exactly which connector does what.

Personally, I took the all-in-one cable like you, and plugged it into "CPU FAN". That's the easiest way.

It is therefore normal that if you plug the all-in-one into a connector other than CPU FAN, an error message is displayed.

Hi, here you can find more details on how the single cable works, directly on Arctic official page (see page 2).
