Is there anyone here who doesn't need the printer for 2-3 weeks? How is the print quality then? Does the ink dry out and the cleaning programme is needed? Thank you very much for your information.

Helpful answer

The print quality is always great, even if I don't use the printer for 2-3 weeks. However, the printer is always connected to the mains and the print head is cleaned periodically during printing.

Hello

I would like to add something:

The printer certainly doesn't like it very much. If possible, it is best to simply print an image every 1-2 weeks (containing all colours if possible).

My copy suddenly had a problem with colour printing after printing only in black and white for a long time. It turned out to be dried out / clogged.

I would say that 2-3 weeks in between should not be a problem.

I have the printer in normal use... approx. 15 pages a day ... 2-3 times every 4 weeks the printer has stood still without a job ... no problems so far ... very satisfied

Was just on holiday. Prints without problems after 2 weeks, without cleaning.
