The Safety 1st Safe Contact focuses completely on your child. You can either set the baby monitor to continuous reception or use the VOX function, so the device only transmits when your child is making noise. The three indicator lights on the parent unit show the intensity or volume of your baby's sounds. The parent unit is a handy pocket size so you always have the unit with you and your hands free for everyday tasks. With the included rechargeable batteries, it can be used for up to 5 hours without power supply. If the parent unit has been misplaced or forgotten, it can be found again via the search function on the baby unit with a signal tone.
