Kasperl and the Seppl Trap

Doctor Döbler's tasteful Punch and Judy show is not just any old Punch and Judy show, but amusing, literary children's entertainment. The puppet theatre has received many excellent reviews and has been a guest at numerous theatres and festivals, including the Munich Volkstheater. The owners, authors, speakers and puppeteers are Richard Oehmann and Josef Parzefall, who have already written nine children's plays for their stage and performed them throughout Germany. The lavish booklet contains portraits and information about each of the puppet characters. Children can also study a detailed map of Doctor Döblinger's very bizarre Punch and Judy region while listening. Plot: Just as Punch is making himself comfortable at the Gasthaus Ruhetag, the town's hiking day breaks out in Hinterwieselharing and Seppl eagerly marches off at the front. Unfortunately, Punch learns that Chantalle, the crocodile belonging to the magician Gottlieb Wurst, has escaped. What's more, the witch Annegehr is lying in wait for Seppl with a treacherous trap and nerve-wracking singing. Kasperl sets off on his own to save his friend from danger.
