Philips quality!
The product is of good quality and it's nice to be able to configure the colours and intensity, at least at first... over time you get bored, especially as from time to time it forgets all the settings and you have to redo them...

Good ceiling lamp with design flaws
The lamp is fun once it is mounted and aligned. But it is the assembly and alignment that spoils the fun somewhat. The square shape makes the whole thing a bit more complicated, as you hardly want a lamp hanging crookedly from the ceiling when the other design is so appealing. A round base would be easier to install and more versatile. The fact that the drill holes are so far apart is also not really optimal. It would certainly be easier to assemble with two people, but you have to be a bit acrobatic on your own. I have also seen more comfortable systems in terms of cable sleeves.
Unfortunately, the four lamps can only be aligned to a limited extent, far from 360°. You quickly reach the limit and then have to see if it works better in the other direction. Sometimes you have the feeling that you are screwing up the mechanism because you get to the stop so quickly and then it goes a little further, but the resistance indicates that you should stop. This makes it difficult to illuminate corners well.
But once the lamp is finally attached and the room is (more or less) illuminated as desired, one can talk about a very versatile lamp. In conjunction with the Bridge, it can be used as a wake-up light, always colour the room appropriately during films and games, and in the evening at dusk it can suggest that someone has just turned on the light even though no one is at home. So the bottom line is that it's more than just a lamp. It almost got five stars from me, but the design flaws narrowly blew it.Pro

Powerful smart lamp
Illuminating the children's room is perfectly implemented with this lamp. Combined with a Philips Switch (switch) can be set different presets (scenes). (eg reading, playing, party, sleep) The individual needs can be combined perfectly.

Ingenious
We are thrilled with the Philips Hue lighting products (this is not our first Hue product). We can control the lamps individually and let them shine in different colors and brightness, use them among other things as an alarm clock and control them on vacation from abroad to simulate an inhabited house to keep burglars away. The lamps turn on and off automatically when we leave or enter the house. The system offers many possibilities and we will gradually switch all lighting to Hue.

The lamp can be well, although something "fiddly" to attach to the ceiling.

Good adjustable spotlights, supplied with colour bulbs
Installed in a room of about 20m2, does its job to illuminate much better than the Philips wall lamp I had just there and which was not from the hue range.
On the other hand, it's not an ultra bright light either, even if you can dim it. The ceiling is quite low in this room so it's fine.
I have in addition to this spotlight on the ceiling, a hue LED strip behind the computer screen and 2 Tradfri light squares from Ikea.
It's still a bit expensive for 4 spots, but now all the lights in this room are connected, so I don't need to press a switch anymore, the motion detector turns everything off after a few minutes when I'm not there anymore.Pro

Nice light with a nice light.
Superb lighting, I was afraid that it was not powerful enough but its 4 bulbs of 6.5w rgb do the job perfectly.
The plastic is of good quality, the spots can be oriented in all directions.
