The right amount of CO2 in the water is very important for aquarium plants. Carbon dioxide serves as the main nutrient for plants and thus as a growth promoter for full development. Plants utilise CO2 for photosynthesis and thus supply the water with vital oxygen. They prevent algae growth, remove pollutants, provide hiding places and reduce pathogens. The diffuser supplies the aquarium water with even bubbles of the main plant nutrient carbon dioxide. The diffuser is suitable for all standard CO2 systems and is connected to a 4/6 mm CO2 hose. It can be attached to the aquarium using a suction holder. The correct amount of CO2 is different for every aquarium and depends on the volume, water movement and planting of the aquarium. The CO2 content can be checked using a CO2 test.
