Robot vacuum
As a hay fever and pet hair allergy sufferer, it is important for me to have a reasonably allergen-free flat during the warmer months. This is made more difficult by my cat, which becomes a real fur monster when its coat changes ;o) Since I didn't want to vacuum the flat every 2 days with my Dyson DC52, I looked around for a robot hoover. After reading countless comparison tests and forum posts, I decided on the Deebot Ozmo930. However, I have to say that I was close to buying a Deebot R98 because of the suction function. However, the better functionality and the possibility to update scored points.
The Ozmo930 cleans in a very structured and efficient way. The way it works depends on the position of the charging station. In my case, it is placed against the wall on the longer side of the living room, so that it also runs through it in longitudinal paths. Suction power and noise are top. Wet mopping on my floor tiles and laminate also works great on the "max" setting (= water volume output). The insertion of the water tank with applied mop is a bit tricky, but manageable even for impatient people. The app is easy to use and you can easily control the cleaning activity of the Robbi. It also updates the Robbi's firmware!
The only negative thing I have noticed so far is the emptying. The dust container is easy to remove, but emptying it is only possible with too much dust flying around (this applies to all bagless vacuum cleaners; it is also a problem with my Dyson). I miss the suction function of the Deebot R98 a bit here, especially because if there is a lot of dust/hair, the Robbi would have to be emptied after each pass. After 2 passes at the latest, the container is full and has to be emptied.
It cleans my 2.5 room 70m2 flat in less than 30 minutes. I can give the Deebot Ozmo930 a clear recommendation!

As long as it works, it is a very useful product. Unfortunately, the carpet detection stopped working after only 6 months, so that damp mopping was no longer possible (the device sees carpet everywhere, which is not driven over when damp mopping). After 11 months, the laser distance sensor has now also failed, so that it is completely unusable. The support hotline has waiting loops of 30 - 60 minutes and every 20 seconds you hear the same sentence, you should read the FAQ on the webpage. I have now registered the device for repair, 7 days and 3 calls later I am still waiting for the documents to send it in.

Works quite well. Easy to install and has been in operation for three weeks so far. The device scans its surroundings precisely and skilfully recognises surfaces to be cleaned.
Bought explicitly because of the claim that the device also manages higher thresholds. Unfortunately, the product does not quite keep this promise, it happens again and again that it stops in rooms because of an insurmountable threshold, which, however, is still below the stated maximum height to be overcome.
I have had the vacuum cleaner for a year now and use it regularly to vacuum and mop my 70 sqm flat with laminate flooring and tiles. The two carpets I have (bathroom, very deep and therefore not really feasible with any vacuum cleaner, and lauefer to divide the room) are not cleaned by the vacuum cleaner, which was ok and expected due to their nature. There were initial difficulties with positioning, but this was solved after the base station had been positioned in advance. Unfortunately, my wardrobe with a mirror down to the floor is not recognised by the vacuum cleaner (oh wonder ;) ), so I drew a No Go separating line there, which is perfectly taken into account. Just like all the other No Go zones. It was important that the vacuum cleaner was centred on the boundary line, so you don't just have to draw the line directly at the no-go area, but rather move it a little into the room. Otherwise there were problems because I had forgotten water in the mop container and the chalky water clogged the nozzle. The email support was very helpful (warm water with lemon) and this was done within 24 hours, which is ok because no one is so dependent on a vacuum cleaner that there has to be a prompt response.
I have to vacuum my girlfriend's extremely pleasant hair regularly, but the necessary accessories are included.

It is very worrying that the Ozmo 930, which is not exactly cheap, does not work at all as it should. It should draw maps of the home and make them visible in the app, but it keeps redrawing this map and drawing it completely wrong. It goes into the no-go zones defined on the app and breaks everything there. In other words, it does not stick to its own drawn map. He can't even find his own base station (!!!), which he himself has clearly drawn on the map and would even know where it is. Then it just stays somewhere in the flat without a battery and you have to carry it back to the base station by hand (in my case under the sofa and extremely tedious). So it's as dumb as a box of beans and not smart at all. In other words, it doesn't keep its promise and is a disaster. Because of the hassle with the wrong maps, which you always have to redraw, and the no-go areas (would have better things to do), you end up with more work than doing it yourself, and since the thing is so expensive, you might as well hire a cleaning lady. I am completely flabbergasted that Ecovacs is offering such an immature and non-functioning junk product at such a moon price with the Deebot Ozmo 930. Anyone who thinks, like me, "now I'll pay a bit more, but I'll get something good" will be disappointed all along the line. The problems with the maps and the software are well known in the forums and there is no solution. Hands off, don't make the same mistake I did. And to the people at Ecovacs: shame on you and find another job, any job you know how to do, but please, no more IoT hoovers that drive people crazy instead of making life easier.
All the sensors, lasers etc you pay dearly for are pointless, he can't even draw a map let alone stick to it.
Gladly attached is the last "fantasy map" he made on 30 October which makes no sense at all. The red areas, by the way, would be the no-go zones, which then - completely without sense - were suddenly outside the map! And the charging station outside the flat! The red zone at the top left was actually the bed and bedside table as no-go zones - after the last redrawing of the map, the bed is suddenly as big as half the flat? and somewhere in the Güggenhüü outside? Oh dear, simply pathetic.
