Motor overheated, otherwise good
Have the rod now about 3 years and use it for soups, vegetables, fruit and also for the preparation of hummus. Unfortunately, the motor has recently broken down when making hummus. He overheats and then no longer works. This is very unfortunate and also disappointing. I am in principle fan of KitchenAid, but will now buy another brand. The price is simply too high for such a short life.

The KitchenAid quality
From the start, we find the quality of the KitchenAid brand. Well thought out product. Easy to clean. Many accessories. Easily replaces even an old blender that is not very practical to use.

perfect blender!!!
Perfect as most of the kitchenaid utensils and blenders I have.
The set is perfect the three blades complete the ideal protection to protect the pans...
Just the packaging for delivery a box of about (to the eye) 60x40x90 cm to put a box kitchenaid 20x35x50 cm is a little big and especially a little full of plastic bubble .... but otherwise delivered quicklyPro

Exactly what I wanted
Great mixed. I use it regularly for cooking and preparing food for my baby, so regularly used for large batches! With all the accessories it is easy to find the most effective for your purpose.

Leaky knife attachments, completely overpriced for this quality.
The knife attachments are not leak-proof. The liquid comes right up to the mixer arm. Cleaning is only possible to a limited extent and with a lot of effort. the residual liquid, which is in the knife attachment, must be blown out. It takes more time to clean than to make sauces, mousses, etc. A disaster!

After 2 years broken down
Have had the blender for 2 1/2 years now. Have used it mostly for soup, pesto, sauces, etc., however, the blender has broken down when making hummus, forever. The motor overheats quickly and doesn't go after that. Very disappointing. I can only use the hand blender at the moment to whip ice cream. Quality very disappointing, a product that looks good does not have to be good, which Kitchenaid has proven many times. Thank you and never again.

Habs bought in Nov. 20. Was already in the Rep. because of the engine. Now the plastic is broken.
Got it back from the repair for the 2nd time. Now the case can no longer close. Too bad Galaxus just can't get it right. I don't understand why they don't just replace it instead of deficiently repairing it multiple times. In the meantime, bought a Braun hand blender from the competition that works flawlessly.

Unit good, service bad
The hand blender is really very good and powerful. We dropped the long handle on the floor and a piece of plastic splintered off. Unfortunately, Kitchen Aid cannot offer a single replacement and the whole set with case would have to be sent in, although there was still a guarantee. The waiting time was indefinite. This was out of the question for us. Therefore one star deduction.

Works great - case has design flaw
Pretty much everything about this hand blender + accessories is right. Even the case in which everything can be stored in a space-saving way is more practical than expected.
However, if you make such a case, you should consider that buyers will also want to put it on edge. With the current design, this can only be done by clamping it because the hinges come out at the bottom.Pro
