i have had a few coffee machines. but the eq9 is by far the best machine. when everything is set correctly, drinking coffee becomes a great pleasure.

Problem device
This machine is very disappointing. Constant problems with the brewing unit (clean brewing unit as error message and you can clean it to a high shine and it does not run). I am disposing of this machine after exactly 2 1/2 years as it is quality junk. Expensive machine but only problems with the brewing unit, problem is also present on the Internet with quite a few people.

Very (too) complete coffee machine
This coffee machine allows, via the "barista" menu, to change a lot of settings to make a coffee with the taste that suits you best. I have yet to figure out what the difference is between a strong coffee and an intense coffee (2 separate settings).
I think it's by doing tastings that I will be able to find my ideal setting. I have only had this machine for a week.
Otherwise, the use is really easy and the weekly cleaning is simple and relatively short.
The milk foam, for cappuccino or espresso macchiato for example, is really great.
I have never heard such a low noise when a machine grinds coffee! The astonished remarks made even by professionals were therefore correct.
The only two average remarks I have is that the water tank was not designed to be pulled forward, instead of having to tilt it sideways. That would have saved me a lot of space on the kitchen counter.
And secondly, I feel like the coffee is a bit watery at the moment. I use a medium grade coffee. As soon as I'm done with it, I'm going to switch to a better grade of coffee, and I'll resume testing with the new coffee.
I only use the "connected" feature to turn it on when I'm still in bed, so I can find it operational as soon as I'm in the kitchen. And to get notifications when the drip tray is full or the water tank needs refilling. I've disabled the other notifications.
Is this machine worth the price? Considering the quality of the materials used and the really nice finishes, and the fact that the spare parts are insured for a very long time, I think it is worth its price. It just takes time to get used to the beast with all the settings it offers.Very good machine, price a little high but it's worth it. The machine makes great drinks.
