The KNX module enables the Dual Q smoke alarm device to be connected to a KNX system. It is downward compatible and can also be used for Dual/VdS smoke alarm devices. The module supports alarm extension for networking several smoke detectors via KNX, as well as wired alarm networking of multiple smoke detectors. It includes a signaller for activating the signaling tone, status messages, and fault messages.
