The smoke alarm set consists of three TG600AL units with a compact size and appealing design language according to DIN EN 14604, additionally certified under the increased testing requirements of the Q certification based on the vfdb guidelines 14-01 from the Association for the Promotion of German Fire Protection. It offers enhanced testing criteria against the ingress of foreign bodies as well as better protection against moist heat, oxidation, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and is more resilient to temperature fluctuations.

The device serves for the early detection and signaling of fires with smoke development indoors. A processor-controlled functional self-test occurs every 10 seconds, and the PGSA technology allows for independent algorithmic re-triggering in the presence of disturbances such as dust to ensure operational reliability.

A large function and reset button spans the entire top of the detector. The acoustic signal reaches 85 dB, accompanied by red flashing LEDs for alarm indication. There are also acoustic signals for low battery, contamination, or fault alerts, supported by a yellow LED.

A time-limited deactivation function for smoke detection suppresses false alarms for about 12 minutes, with automatic reset to normal operation. Fault alerts can be delayed by hours or days through acknowledgment at the reset button. The fault of a contaminated detection unit cannot be reset as long as the error message is pending in the evaluation unit.

Installation can be done on the ceiling or wall according to DIN 14676. The detector has a camping caravan approval. A disassembly and theft protection feature can be activated, with unlocking possible only using a screwdriver with a maximum size of 7 mm. When screwed into the base, the detector is automatically activated. The battery life is at least 10 years thanks to a sealed lithium battery. TG600AL-3.
