The Munich startup Kekz is revolutionizing the way children consume their favorite audio content on the go and at home with its wireless children's headphone system. The Kekzhörer allows for intuitive operation, enabling preschoolers to independently control music, audio plays, and audiobooks—completely without cables, screens, or the internet. With a simple click-and-play mechanism, the Kekz chips are attached to the outside of the ear cup using magnets to start playback. Kekz was founded in Munich in 2020 by Carl Taylor and Adin Mumma and has been honored with the German Design Award 2021 and the iF Design Award.
