Toothpaste for milk teeth must provide reliable protection against tooth decay - this requires fluoride. However, children's toothpastes should not contain titanium dioxide. The result: almost every second toothpaste tested fails: We rate a whole 199 products as "poor" or "unsatisfactory". "Satisfactory" or "sufficient" are 58 toothpastes. They have minor defects. We can at least recommend a good third of all toothpastes: 116 products were rated as "very good" and 27 as "good"...
