Beurer Salon Pro System
Much better than the Lumea from Philips. Thanks to the large flash area, you can finish quite quickly. Highly recommended.
Generally very good. However, what I strongly recommend to every user (and customer) is to wear sunglasses during the treatment, because the light flashes are quite intense. Eyes are very sensitive, so they should be protected.
Contra
The device is well made and also easy to use. The various attachments are also very useful.
Unfortunately, even after more than half a year and various treatments, I could not notice any progress. The device is therefore no longer in use.
I have used a Philips Lumea for years and after the device died of old age tried the Beurer device.
My problem is that for me (very fair skin and dark hair) it does not cope with heavy, coarse hair. Even in areas that the Lumea has kept clean without problems, hair is now growing back despite much more frequent treatment.
In addition, the device is rather unwieldy and in complicated places, eg knees, it is very difficult to bring the device thanks to "protective sensor" to flash at all.
Like all these devices, the flash gets very hot. The problem here is that it is very easy to come into contact with the flash and get burned. I hardly know this problem from the Lumea so far.
Conclusion: I will probably buy the much more expensive Lumea again.

Clearly better than the HL100. Larger flash area, thus more efficient and economical. Different power depending on hair type (armpits, arms, legs). But here too: Nothing is permanent. It is only reduced and slowed down. If you don't use the device for a longer period of time, most of the hair will come back.
