The SBG 21 glass diagnostic scale uses the B.I.A. principle (bioelectric impedance analysis) to determine not only your weight but also your body fat, body water and muscle percentage, as well as your bone mass and calorie requirement. Within seconds, an imperceptible, completely harmless current makes it possible to determine body parts. With this measurement of the electrical resistance (impedance) and the calculation of constants or individual values (age, size, gender, degree of activity), the body fat percentage and other values in the body can be determined. In addition, the BMI calculation makes it easy to classify body weight in relation to height. With 10 individual user slots, you and your family members can save and recall your personal settings. The large LCD display shows the values clearly and with a digit size up to 25 mm. The tread surface made of safety glass (30 x 30 cm) is suitable for a load capacity of up to 180 kg.

Die schwache Kippsicherheit der Sanitas Sbg 21 kostet die bessere Benotung, wobei auch die Körperfettanalyse nur wenig zufriedenstellend ist. Im Gegenzug kann die Waage mit eine sehr genauen Messung des Körpergewichts aufwarten.
Die Sanitas SBG 21 besteht die Dauerprüfung mit Bravour und auch bei der Handhabung leistet sich die Waage keine nennenswerten Schwächen. Auch wenn man lediglich die Messgenauigkeit bei der Gewichtsmessung bewertet fällt das Fazit sehr gut aus. Leider verhagelt die schwache Kippsicherheit und auch die schlechte Körperfettanalyse die Gesamtwertung.
