Bei der Tanita BC 601 handelt es sich um eine Körperanalysewaage mit vielen Funktionen und Ausstattungsdetails. Sie punktet hier vor allem auch mit ihrem herausziehbaren Display, sodass die Bedienung im aufrechten Stand erfolgen kann. Die Leistung könnte bei 160 Euro jedoch noch etwas besser sein.
Die teuerste Waage im Test lieferte dank des Handteils genauere Messungen als die Konkurrenz. Der Hersteller gibt die Skelettmuskelmasse nicht getrennt aus - und verwirrt deshalb mit diesem Wert. Eine Smartphone-App von Tanita gibt`s nicht, das Plastikgehäuse macht keinen robusten Eindruck.
