Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution is an exfoliator for the skin's surface. It helps to improve skin clarity, even out uneven skin tones and correct texture in the long term. This formula contains a derivative of Tasmanian Pepper Berry of plant origin whose colour varies seasonally and these colour variations may be visible in the formula from time to time.

The pH of this formula is about 3.6. Glycolic acid has a pKa value of 3.6. pKa is the most important aspect to consider when formulating acids. pKa means the availability of the acid. When the pKa value is close to the pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acid content, maximising the effectiveness of the acid and reducing irritation.
