Test Report

Test smartphones

In this comparison test, there are rankings, but no losers. Each smartphone has special qualities. Test winner Honor Magic 5 Pro is the best all-rounder, with photographers only having to make compromises when it comes to flash photography. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra satisfies the gaming and telephoto drive when taking photos, offers an incredibly good display and a fast, long-lasting battery. The small Zenfone 10 lasts even longer and is also an excellent competitor to the larger models, while at the same time disappearing most elegantly into a jeans pocket. The Sony is the dreamy Lange from the second row. Anyone who makes friends with it will find a handy, super-sharp companion that offers exclusive advantages (camera button, adjustable optical zoom, jack socket, memory card) after a certain familiarisation phase. For the price-conscious on a tight budget, there is the Poco F5 Pro. It may look cheaper than the other candidates, but its performance, extraordinarily crisp display and wireless charging are impressive. It's clear: the excursion into the world beyond Apple and Samsung is worth it!
