Test Report

8 fully automatic coffee machines in a comparison test

For many, coffee is an integral part of every day. The first commercial coffee houses operated in Istanbul in the 16th century, and by the early 17th century they could also be found in London, Paris and Vienna. Botanically and culturally rooted in Ethiopia, it is also enjoyed in this country not only for its exquisite aroma but also thanks to its stimulating power. It can be prepared in a variety of ways: from the classic Italian mocha pot to the stylish French press to the modern capsule and pad machines. For coffee enjoyment at home, however, fully automatic coffee machines offer by far the greatest convenience: at the touch of a button, they automatically prepare a wide variety of coffee and milk specialities, which can be adjusted to individual preferences in terms of the amount of coffee and milk, the degree of grinding and the (aroma) strength. In addition, the coffee beans are ground just before brewing so that all the aromatic nuances of the coffee are preserved. In our comparative test, we tested 8 modern fully automatic coffee machines for you.
