The case of this external hard drive complies with the military standard for shock resistance and is waterproof (IPX7). The USB 3.0 interface delivers the performance and speed required for traditional storage and backup tasks. Data loss due to the effects of liquids will certainly not occur here. The hard disk has passed the IPX-7 test, in which the device proved to be waterproof even after 30 minutes in 1 meter deep water. It also passed the military drop test. The hard disk can therefore be used under the most extreme conditions and still delivers the expected transfer speed.
