The new ECHO Show 8 does a lot better than its predecessors, and the faster working speed was a particular favourite during testing. It also retains many virtues such as the crisp display and the great voice control. However, the smart home hub is probably the most practical new feature.

The Amazon Echo Pop does its job well: With it, the voice assistant can show off all its capabilities. The sound quality is okay for such a small speaker, especially when it comes to voice playback. The same applies to the Echo Show, which reacts more sensitively to voice inputs than its predecessor. It also scores points with its small but informative screen.
