The pressure sensors of the mps pressure series can be used in many different ways. They can also be used as level sensors, in particular, for large tube expansion tanks, in which case the pressure generated
by the water column in the expansion tank is measured at the sensor. For this purpose, the sensor is mounted at the level of the lower edge of the expansion tank (or lower) and connected to one of the lower connections of the expansion tank. In addition, either the second connection of the pressure sensor (only for type Delta 40/100/500) must be connected to a connection at the upper edge of the expansion tank in the area of the air bubble or a pressure compensation diaphragm must be mounted there (for all types). Connections and compensating diaphragm are not included in the scope of delivery and must be purchased separately.
