The DIGITUS SSD/HDD mounting frame for the CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive bay is the perfect solution for upgrading your notebook. With this frame, you can replace the optical drive (CD/DVD/Blu-ray) with a hard
drive. Put the original drive cover on the frame and the replacement will be inconspicuous. The mounting frame corresponds to a bay height of 12.7 mm and is designed for 2.5" SATA SSDs and HDDs. The DIGITUS SSD/HDD mounting frame for the CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive bay can be used in almost all optical drive bays with SATA interface. It is used for storage expansion through the use of a hard disk/SSD and enables faster access to your data stored on it.
