Cat. 8.1 patch cables are used for 25/40GBASE-T applications, with a transmission range of up to 30 meters and a transmission power of up to 2 GHz, which is four times the bandwidth of Cat. 6A. The CAT 8 Channel Link is 100% tested and includes an attached measurement protocol and serial number. It features an industry standard Cat. 8 connector with 50µ gold plated contact surfaces. The shielded RJ45 plug includes a latching lug and latching lug protection. This double shielded LAN/network cable has wire pair shielding with pairs in metal foil and overall shielding with braiding. There is a length indication on the slimline bend protection sleeve.
