Warm sound
long service life
Pleasantly light
Voices sound a little musty
No volume control
Thanks to their special design, the FreeClip cling comfortably to the outer ears. When tested, they delivered a more than decent sound that was balanced and pleasantly warm. The battery life of over nine hours is excellent and operation is simple, but unfortunately without volume control.

It's good to see that the still young open-ear concept is obviously challenging manufacturers: Huawei has come up with some clever ideas for the Freeclip - first and foremost the automatic ear recognition. The elegant headphones are also at the forefront in terms of sound quality.

Great design, Huawei. The fact that you don't have to worry about which one sits on the right and which on the left with the FreeClip is worth a round of applause. In terms of sound, they share the fate of all open-ear headphones. Their bass reproduction seems weak compared to in-ears. Music only sounds good when it's quiet around you.
